AS PER OUR DISTRICT’S DISTANCE LEARNING PLAN, TEACHING AND LEARNING WILL CONTINUE IF ANY MANDATORY CLOSURES ARE ORDERED BY THE NJDOE OR NJDOH. Grading Policy

• Students are required to go to all band lesson periods
• Students are required to have their instrument, music folder, lesson book and pencil at every rehearsal
• Attendance is 50% of your grade, 25% is preparedness (having your required materials, practicing at home and google classroom assignments) and 25% is following rehearsal rules
• 2nd and 4th Cycle Attendance is 35% of your grade and concert participation is 15%

• We are moving to a new lesson book at Edgar School
• The new Lesson Book is Sound Innovations Book 1 (Blue Book) 
• The book is available at Sam Ash on Route 27 in Edison
